West Side Grounds

In Chicago, Cubs coming next....the picture on the right is a picture from the 1930s? Iam doing the 1908 park....

Good one.....Wrigley Field was a totally different ballpark,Weghman Field, didn't realize that....

What amazes me, peering into some of those photos, is that they had rooftop seats on the apartment buildings way back then, too.

for grandstand design....dimensions were...LF-340FT....CF-442.....RF...316.........RF wall was 16 ft high........

Here is my colorized West Side Park. Notice the reporters in the 1st base coaches box. I know the colors are not perfect. By the way, this is from the Cubs vs Giants game in 1908.
