Junior Welterweights - Page 3

While there is no file for Jose Luis Ramirez as a Junior Welterweight, one can be constructed. His career in that division was exceedingly brief. In his last fight of 1989 he lost a unanimous 12-round decision to Pernell Whitaker for the WBC Lightweight Title and IBF Lightweight Title. His next fight was seven months later against Juan Martin Coggi for the WBA Light Welterweight Title. Again he lost a twelve round unanimous decision. After that he retired. So, on that scant information, this is what I've come up with.

Hey John,

Do you have a file for Francisco 'Panchito' Bojado @ JWW? Kind of a pre-JC Rubio Bojado. Before that defeat, he was touted as a tremendous power puncher with both hands, possessing an outstanding amateur pedigree. We all have his rating @ WW but ever since the Rubio loss @ 140, he was never the same and was never really looked at the same way. He is another fighter that i remember being rated @ 140 years ago but have not come across it since. Thanks, John. This is great stuff you are putting together. Sorry for all the requests but you posts for each weight class tend to tweak my memory a bit.

I'm finished with the Junior Welters from the past versions of the game so if he wasn't posted as a JWW then he probably never had such a file. Doesn't mean I can't come up with one. I'll make a note of it and get him for you when I have a little time.

Do you have a rating for Barney Ross at JWW, he is only listed at LW in 2.5 that I have, thanks!
