Reset Fan interest and Market size to start from scratch

Is it possible to start a fictional world in say 1925 and be unemployed and try to get a job where all the markets sizes are the same (small) and fan interest is the same (small)? I want the cities and fan interest to grow organically...is that a thing that can be done???

Yes, you should be able to edit these in Commissioner mode from every team's financials page. I'd provide a screen shot, but I don't have the game readily available at the moment. But wherever you find that info, go there in Commissioner mode and you should be able to edit those settings.

Those can be edited in the team finances page with Commissioner mode turned on. There is not a button or anything to equalize them. However, I think if you want market size and fan loyalty to change organically I think you will likely be disappointed. They do change but very slowly. Somewhere around here in the forums, there's a study and the biggest change was 2 points in 100 years and there was only a loose correlation with on-field success or lack thereof. Frankly, I don't think that is as fluid as in real life. 2 points in 100 years is basically just going from small to average or very small.

i've seen some go from ~average to astronomical. but, it's definteyl not something you should expect.

when i compare and old league to its original setup, the 10-team division with my team has mostly gone down. so, it's strongly correlated to success/failure. only 1 or 2 teams improved more than a bit over ~150 years.

in the other 2 10-team divisions, it was fairly even as far as how many changed up or down over time. these effects are amplified in my setup, because the 10 teams do not play other divisions. a balanced schedule within division only. so, if 1+ does well, that means others have to suffer -- part of the same whole.

for ~150 years i was steadily ~125-135M average payroll... something wicked happened recently and i am averaging ~140M for the first time ever. clearly some markets incresed enough to raise it quite a bit.

no inflation on at all.
