Do you import team exports individually?

Do you import your league's teams' exports one by one, selectively choosing those which you know have submitted for the latest sim? Or do you use the "Import all teams" function, or some other mass import?

Do you keep a running tally of which teams have exported for each sim? To compose a historical record of exports?

When I commish, I record the team export turnout for every sim. Here is the Jamaica League's current season:

(Note that, in 2004, we've accounted for an average of 13 of our 16 teams, per sim; my owners are exceptional. In this illustration, team numbers have been randomized, for privacy.)

Our Mandeville owner set the JL record, by exporting for 83 straight sims.

Out of curiosity, would there be a benefit or good reason to do them individually? I import them en masse, but obviously can tell which teams are exporting. I don't keep an official record, but I do watch the exports and will boot the GMs who are neglecting their teams.

My reasons for doing them individually:
  • it's easier to keep track of which exports are successfully imported—if an owner exports, and it doesn't take, that's a serious issue—I try to import exports periodically between sims, so that I can notify an owner if there's a problem with their export—when I import later, I check the dates, to make sure that I don't miss a re-export;
  • it facilitates my record-keeping;
  • in my experience, if you try to import an old or non-existent export, the game will sometimes crash—so I import a couple of exports, save the game, import a couple more, save again, etc.
