CD, as you know, I can only do a bare-boned basic logo, jersey and cap... my work is at best, just borderline OK... nothing most people want.

If you say so, Eugene, but I still think you do better work than you think you do, especially when the Lord is helping you out. You also have a good eye for colors and all, I think.

I thought of an idea that might be rather interesting-looking for the Jumping Jubilee Men. It would have an L on top, with the bottom bar of the L also serving as the top bar of both J's, with them back to back, and maybe even overlapping or woven into each other, somehow, while then they could be mirrored vertically by the M of Men, leaving a diamond in the middle of the thing, if I'm not too mistaken here. The vertical part of the L could continue down until the J's start to angle to each side, whether in a curve or straight stroke, and then end. Wouldn't that be something cool to see? I think it would. CD out.

Yes, CD, I think I have a very good eye for colors and know a good logo when I see one, but I just can't create my own... I can dream up really good logos, but I can't change colors of any images I would like to use... I have to use the original colors of the image... because I am computer challenged, I can't use script fonts because I don't know how to install them in my computer... if I could learn to use Photoshop, I could do some fine logos, jerseys and caps... but that is just beyond my intellect and learning skills.

That's why the stuff I have done for you is just borderline OK.
I just post them here to try to motivate others to do your logos.

CD, the best way for you to get quality logos is just to download graphics that already have been done by the really good graphics people like txranger, low, Lawn Loaf and knuckler... they are many others that have done great work here on this Graphics Forum... I just can't list all of them.

Sorry, but it appears no one will do the unique and unusual requests that you post.
If you would ask for Lions, Tigers, Red Sox, Indians, Warriors, Knights and such, you might get some done... but you won't get things like Ravenous Word-Eaters, Wacky Robots, Jumping Jubilee Men, etc.

I was amazed that smythejd came up with the Cosmic Turtles... I was hoping he would do more for you.

Jarrod247 did the league logos for you, but that was all... both he and smythejd did really good work on difficult ideas.

Jarrod247 even posted on your Dynasty thread that you should post less complicated requests and people might do them for you.

That is what I have been telling you for over a year now.
Post simple requests with regular nicknames.
And download the great work of txranger, low, Lawn Loaf, knuckler and others.

That is how many of us get really good logos, jerseys and caps for our leagues... you could get them the same way we do.

Go to a site like dafont dot com, for example. They may have basic instructions on how to download and install the fonts you might want to acquire. Several free font sites do have script fonts you can often grab without having to pay for them and may allow commercial use for them at times. Even if you can only use MS Paint, for example, you might be able to come up with better graphics. You may periodically have to go pixel-by-pixel in places. But if you have a general idea, at least, of how you may want things to look, you might be surprised what you might come up with.

For my Kaneva-related shop items, I periodically had to do that, in truth. Sure, my items may not have looked like a lot of other people's items, but they were certainly unique and original. And a good number of those who I often associated with in Kaneva seemed to often like them a good deal, if not a lot, if memory serves.

As far as the next minor league I plan to create for my version of the American Baseball Federation, I'll probably use many of low's items for the necessary teams. Not sure yet which cities I will have the teams in, et cetera, or the related league/subleague names, but I'm still sure the ABF will need a new minor league starting in 1878 or 1879, depending on how many players retire after the season. Most likely 1878 will be the starting year for it.

Once the current relevant season is over, I should have a much better idea of how things might need to go for that dynasty. After I do, I'll probably create another dynasty-related thread in the forums, most likely in the OOTP 20 area of them. Please watch for it, and I'll also let you know in my SBC-related thread just before I create it, if and when I can, Eugene.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for..

But was able to find this "Robots" set which MUFC1878 made and was able to change just a little bit (added some color) for you. Will not be able to do anymore because I just have no clue what to do for a "story-seeker" or "Word-eater" etc. Those are far beyond my creative level.

EC has great words of wisdom with taking what the community has already produced (Low has 63 pages of great stuff - and counting, txranger is amazing, over 500 pages plus other guys). It is what I do.

That looks really cool, smythejd. Think you might be able to create an away uniform of some sort, even if it doesn't look quite like the home uniform? I don't think any of the other teams will use black and pink and gray, for any of their looks, for instance. Just do your best possible, even if it is only Birmingham for text on that uniform, and I'm sure that should suffice for me at the present time in the relevant league's dynasty.

As far as the Story-Seekers, see my thoughts above in post 38 of this thread. That should hopefully be easier for you to do. Or maybe the pens could be replaced by a card of some sort, like some journalists' hats might have had sticking out of their brim with the word Press on it, for instance? Just a thought here, that's all. Take it as you will, or not, of course, as you like and can and all. Whatever you come up with, I'm sure I can get used to well enough, somehow, if not immediately. I'm really going to like that Bards-related set you did, I believe, for a good long while. And most likely the Chroniclers one too, come to think of it.

I have a lot of txranger's work, and several others, to be sure. And I'll probably get more of it, as it is produced, if it's not photobucketed or something, if I can, Lord willing.

Txranger's work is very good. As is knuckler's, among others, for sure. As for me, I still can't make logos, unfortunately. Yes, I may have some unusual names, but they may fit for certain teams, just the same, in various places. I do try to have at least a good percentage of more normal names, but for some places in my dynasties, such names may not work well, for any or all possible reasons at a particular time.

For instance, in my fictional nations, certain kinds of animals might not actually be present, for whatever possible reason or reasons. Animals like lions or tigers or bears, to name just a few. While other kinds of animals that don't actually exist in the world we know might exist in them, such as the dodo or griffin, to name just a few, of course. Or even fantasy-style animals, for that matter.

And Yankees wouldn't necessarily be appropriate for a team in a Japanese-influenced nation, for example, would it? Or any of the other major sports teams here in North America, for that matter? The team names would generally have to fit the cultures of the countries involved in certain sports leagues, ideally, right?

CD, Here is the Primary Logo and Secondary Logo to use if you don't get a good one from one of the good designers.

Use Black, Gold and White colors for the jerseys and Caps if you use these logos, so they will match one another.

Two or three teams left to find images for, or create images for, if more images aren't done for the other seven teams in the relevant league/subleagues, I think. Denver Saga-Makers (Nickname could be shortened to Sagas) Salt Lake City Eternal Lore-Keepers (Nickname could be shortened to Lore-Keepers), and possibly the Lincoln Jumping Jubilee Men (Nickname could be shortened to Jumpers or Jubilees, or maybe even Jubes, I think).
