I have decided to leave the Defensive ratings for each player pretty much how they are when the fictional player is created. I'll make sure that your player is, at the very least, a capable fielder based on his position, though (either infield or outfield).

However, if you could choose whether your player is considered a better "hitter" or a better "fielder", that will help me out with this.

As a fielder Oakley has plenty of range and can make amazing plays but sometimes makes stupid errors. He has natural talent and he is smart but has just learned about baseball, so in the beginning bad mistakes will happen. But Oakley is a freak of nature with amazing speed and amazing power, he could be the first 50-50 guy to ever play in the majors.

Oakley is a better hitter than fielder, but it isn't like he can't field at all. Just he can flat out HIT.
