First Time Player Question on Historic Seasons

Hey everyone I'm brand new here. Never played before and I'm blown away by this game and the amount of things you can do. Somehow I've never heard of this game until recently

Had a quick question about Historic Seasons. I'm just messing around and looking to put historic negro players into the league in the 30s. I started a season in 1936 and I can't seem to find certain players. I can only find 1 Negro League with 7 teams. Are there teams missing or am I doing something wrong? I dont see Paige or Gibson in the league that's there.

Sorry if this is the wrong spot for this question. New player here just trying to figure out how to navigate around the game.

1936 does indeed only have a single negro league as the other leagues mostly went belly up for a year. many players just barnstormed that year

I have another question...how can I start a historic season from a specific date. If i want to pick up the 94 season and have the actual stats and results up to the point that the game stopped how do I set it up that way? Thank you in advance!!

When you create a league using the historical wizard, you'll see this option immediately when you choose the year:

*import complete history up to (year)

It will be enabled by default.

You can choose import history when setting up a league and
i believe that will give you league history up to the year before you import.
So if you import in 1994 it will have history up to 1993 since you havent played 1994 yet. But im not sure.

Any way to play a 1994 Season from the date of the Walkout, with all the 94 Season Records and Stats to that day?
