When to swap to the new version?

Seems like every year, the new version of OOTP is dropped and I forget when the ideal time in a season is to kick my league up to the next version. Is it right after the season ends, or right before it begins? Help an OOTP vet out here my brothers in arms.

I don't think it matters..i imported one of my dynastys right in the middle of the NLCS...

Thanks, and just to clarify, you actually roll the league over into the offseason in 15, then move on over, or do you hang on the final day after the World Series, move over, then progress into the offseason.

From your wording I think you mean roll into the new season in v15, but since my league is so huge and importing the thing will take some time, I kinda only wanna go through it once lol.

Generally I would recommend letting the old version process the rollover to the new year, then do the upgrade. But as mentioned, pretty much any time would work. This year, the only time I would definitely recommend against would be during the season, and especially before the All-Star game (due to the new AS voting, you may get some weird dates and calculations happening).

Awesome thanks for the info. Time to get this season wrapped up and the upgrade going....very much look forward to another great version of OOTP
