Which brings up something else I'm disappointed in with OOTP, the uniform logo.

There's an option to add a uniform logo, however when I select the team logo, OOTP inserts an image so huge it makes the players look like they are wearing lobster bibs.

Those plain default uniforms would look a bit nicer if the team logo would appear there in a smaller fashion. I've never been able to figure out how to do that, however.

You could try making the jersey logo smaller on the canvas. The picture would still be the correct size, but the logo would be smaller.

Awesome

This is great and so easy to use, even I can do it and I have a hard time printing my name.

And it produces excellent logos.

If you are looking for a further challenge, what the OOTP world really needs is this kind of program for caps. The game does a hideous job of creating caps with the team logo where a simple, single Capital letter would do.

With that in mind, a simple 'OOTP Haberdasher' program which would create a single color cap with a white or black letter selected from a list of, say Gothic (Detroit Tigers style), Western (like the Tx Rangers) and a simple block style (Gill, for example). then it should make the 'cap_New_York_Mets' filename.

That would solve my biggest gripe with the game's graphics.

Uniforms would be too hard, I think, because of the need for lettering, but some day.
I've been playing around with this and other than a font problem, it works pretty well.

The problem is with GDI+ graphics and non-truetype fonts (causes an exception that can't be handled and crashes the program). I don't know if I can get this working the way I want or if I should just release it with a warning. I have only come across 1 font that causes a problem so far, so it's not that bad.

So, does this look useful to anyone?

here's a peek at what I got ...

Looks like another winner! Now, if there was just something like that for uniforms...

I will at some point look into that, but it would be very basic if it can be done at all.

Awesome job man, you're brilliant! Just curious... does the ball cap creator allow us to place images on the caps, or just font/text?

Dude you are amazing, this is so awesome!

Now only if you could use your brilliance for jerseys, the OOTP fan base would have to bow down to you

Update: Version 1.11

Just a minor bug fix update. Must be minor since I am the only one that noticed them.

I'm looking to make a logo similar to these ones, but can't download this (what looks to be a really cool) app since I'm on a Mac.

Could someone help me out and turn this logo into a glossy circle logo? Thanks in advance.
