Super Long 3 way Playoff Tiebreaker

This was funny. Not involving my team, but in my league there was a 3 way tie for 1st place at the end of the season.

The way it was solved was each team played each other once, 2 games for each team.

The first time "tiebreaker", every team went 1-1. Still tied.

So they played 2 more games each. Every team went 1-1 again. Still tied!

Finally, the 3rd tiebreaker tournament they played, San Antonio went 2-0 and went onto the playoffs. Each team finished the season with 168 games played!

Wow! Has that ever happened in real life?

This game is amazing -- sometimes it's more fun to watch the other teams that your own!

Admittedly this was on MLBM 2015 rather than MLBM 2016, but in one of my games there was a 4-way tie for the second NL wildcard spot between Atlanta, Miami, Mikwaukee and San Diego. The way the game solved it was a 1-game tiebreaker between Atlanta and Miami. They were seemingly picked on alphabetical order - Milwaukee and San Diego were eliminated without playing! The Braves won the tiebreaker and advanced to the NLDS.
