Just a quick update to say that I've squashed (or, well, worked around) an issue that was causing the jersey to crop when exported using a computer with Retina/High DPI screens.

The tradeoff is that the image you see in the browser will be a bit blurry, but the exported image should be just fine.

How did you make the background transparent? I'm trying to make a cap and have a big white square in the background.

Inside the Jersey Maker:

1) Select the image you want to edit.
2) Click the "Remove Border" button.

That being said, the editing tools in the Jersey Maker are pretty rudimentary. You'll get better results if the image already has a transparent background before importing it. There are free programs you can use to do that (GIMP and Paint.NET both come to mind, although Paint.NET is only for Windows). You could also use an online image editor like Pixlr as well.

I can't thank you enough for making this.
I've never been able to put in the time to learn how to make jerseys with other tools but yours was so easy.
I was amazed at how quick I was able to make jerseys/caps for 20 teams in a new league.

I appreciate the different jerseys others have posted here but it's so nice to have my own and make them exactly how I want.

I noticed in jersey types it lists Alternate and Throwback. Will OOTP17 actually use those jersey types at any point or are they just for reference purposes?

I'm having trouble change the size of text. I assume it is the slider next to where you select Plain or Ached, etc from the drop down. I change it but it just jumps back to 0.

I am using Chrome.

I'm having the same issue. Still, it's a really nice little program! Thank you!

Those are just for reference purposes, the only ones OOTP uses are the home and away designations.

The slider is to set the amount of the text deformations, not the text size (the slider is disabled when your text isn't deformed, which is why it just jumps back to zero. That's browser-specific behavior - Firefox doesn't even let you move it at all, for example). If you want to change the text size, just click on the text itself and you can grab one of the handles and stretch the text:

Blank or Distorted Text in Windows 7

Here are a couple of examples of what I mean. Hope you can fix it!
I'm getting this too, using Windows 7 and trying IE, Chrome, and Firefox (they are all updated). I've also tried all the fixes suggested in this thread. Any light you could send my way would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Solved sort of, see above. It works for me (sometimes) if I scale the lettering in the blank area and then place it on the jersey. I was using Chrome and I think you can only do it one time.

Or apparently not. I guess it was just dumb luck. So I'm still stumped and done posting replies to myself.

How do I get rid of buttons all together and is there a color picker option anywhere? i am trying to base this Colt .45's jersey on the 1980's Astros road jersey.

How'd I do?

If not there is a great app called colorcop that will tell you the hex code of any color.

I've tried working a color picker in, but it's been troublesome - there are cross-domain security issues that prevent a straight javascript solution.

There's an eyedropper extension called ColorZilla that works in Chrome and Firefox, and as rocknfire said there are external programs that will do the same job.

@TheGame, not sure why the font is vanishing on you - what steps cause it to disappear?
