Just to say that I'm not ignoring the kind offers of help in this thread. I'm going to sort out a plan tomorrow and will post details here.

Please find below a list of leagues that I have completed (or am just finishing off at the moment). If anybody is interested in helping then please post in this thread what league you would like to do (please post here BEFORE you start work - just so nobody ends up duplicating work).
Ideally I would like to work downwards from the top of each league for each country. In other words, let's do the elite league for the country before doing the second tier, then the third tier, etc - rather than starting in the middle. With regards to creating the graphics, they must be PNG files whose height and/or width are 150px. Please crop the images to the size of the logo (don't leave any transparent borders). The backgrounds must be transparent (i.e. using alpha transparency - this normally looks like a checkered background in graphics software packages). The images should be named <team name>.png (e.g. new york rangers.png). Please use lower case file names. When researching logos from the internet, please ensure that your source logos are at least 150px in height and/or width (ideally they should be larger if they do not have transparent backgrounds - it is easier to work with larger source images when removing backgrounds before resizing them down - and you end up with a better end result). SVG and PNG source images are preferable. If not, a decent-quality JPEG should be okay (so long as there aren't any moire compression artefacts on the image). GIFs are best avoided unless you are absolutely sure that it looks okay (GIFs have a 256 colour palette and so sometimes the colours end up inaccurate). Note that if the source logo does not have a transparent background then you will have to add a transparent background yourself. Most/all graphics software packages have a wand tool which can be used to remove coloured backgrounds. If you find a logo whose colours appear washed-out/faded/inaccurate then please send it to me and I will sort it out. I have encountered quite a few logos (both PNGs and JPGs) whose colours appear washed-out, but I can fix this with some colour and contrast tweaks. As we want to ensure that the logos appear perfectly in game, I will check all logos created and will replace any that aren't of high enough quality (e.g. if they have jagged edges following the removal of a coloured background). If you are not confident in editing images but would like to help, it'd be great if you could research/gather suitable team logos for a league(s) and then email them to me. I will then resize/edit them for use in game. I have found Wikipedia to be a great source of high quality logos for many teams. Here are the leagues I have done so far: AHL ECHL NHL OHL QMJHL WHL Austrian Erste Bank Eishockey Liga British EIHL British EPIHL British NIHL 1st Div Czech Extraliga Finnish SM-Liiga German DEL Russian KHL Swedish Elitserien Swiss NLA

I'll take the following leagues.
(Done) Finnish 1. division (Mestis) and below (Done)Swiss NLB (Done)Russian Major League (Former Vysshaya liga) Russian Minor League (Former Molodezhnaya Khokkeinaya Liga) (Done)NCAA (Done)Danish AL-Bank Ligaen (Done)Czech First Division Those should keep me busy for a week or so. Already have 85% of the logos. I personally don't like Sportslogo, since the pictures are mostly gif's that aren't famous for their flexibility when it comes to editing a logo. Someday: yes.
First version: it's a question of time and money. In fact, right now I work on it but I have to make sure not to use to much time because other areas have a higher priority for version 1.

I can live without facegen for a while. What might be cool is to get those generic players faces they used on table-top hockey games. I think it would be fun to just use a little photo of the players as a shout-out to a another great game.

Fraodi - you could also gather logos for the Swedish Division 1 if you like.
