LOL headbutts are outlawed in simulated hockey.

Awesome news here! I've been waiting for a new hockey sim since EHM went under, and if this is half as good as OOTP, then my wait will be over!

Wow, today was crazy (in a good way), so many posts, PM's and emails. After I answered them all it is now 1 AM here in Germany. I love my job.
As I said, I will answer all questions as soon as the dusts settles but this one is important for me: An Android port is not affected by the hockey project (the same for iOOTP 2012). If (again, no promise) our Framework gets Android support (and it looks good), we will release an Android version next year.

Sorry I didnt read all the posts, i saw this the other day and ignored it.
a few misc questions. 1. Will the game use an World default file like that found in OOTP12? I would love to be able to copy & paste the 1 from OOTP 12 with all my modifications into the Hockey Project. 2. Any Graphics? 3. Would the jerseys be the same (minus caps), Gern has made the best NHL jerseys I have ever seen, would love to be able to use his and not have to ask someone to make them for me. Vimage has many AHL, ECHL jerseys And with the HP up and running can we finally get football and basketball going? I would love to own all 4 sports games from OOTPD, and finally be able to have all 4 of my custom leagues running properly for once. Yes I have an Endor NBA, NHL & NFL also. |

If I could program I would make an awesome football game and get really rich from it. Markus and the gang have no excuses as far as I'm concerned.

I can program (to some extent), and intend to do just that eventually unless OOTP or someone beat me to it lol.

Is NCAA college hockey going to be simulated?
I don't much care if it is researched or if it has real players. But I would think it would need to be added since it is one of the three primary areas in which junior players play before and after the draft. I would be cool with real team names and conferences (of course no real logos) and fake players. Just placeholder type teams for junior players. excellent news - love hockey
I am so happy it is not an OOTP style NFL sim - I would so miss my wife and kids and working and pretty much everything else I would lose if that happened since I would play it 18 hours a day. In all seriousness it is good to hear of ANY Sports text sim being devolved these days - we use to get them in all sports quite frequently, but these last couple of years have been sparse for new titles.

One of EHM's biggest downfalls was their lack of promoting the game in Canada. I really enjoyed EHM, and it's a shame it went off the market. There was a lot of potential there. Last edited by Bluenoser; 10-20-2011 at 07:38 AM. |
