PSB - Professional Simulation Baseball
Hello everyone...
This league will be modern day I've deleted a lot of the minor leagues to make team management easier. There will only be full season leagues. Real life International players will be brought in during the offseasons. Draft will remain real life players for as long as possible. Rosters are based off the September one update but obviously begins opening day 2017. Rosters will also be customized to reflect 2017 real life stats. Select minor leaguers will get boosts to hopefully reflect current prospect ratings. Plan is to look at all current top prospect listed players from MLB.com Baseball America and possibly look for one more site that has current up to date 30man prospect lists. Will also touch up guys that either had positive or negative career changes in 2017. Guys like Alex Wood will get a boost while guys like Adam Wainwright will take a hit Scouting is on, for now coaching is on. That one might not stay on. Scouting scale20 to 80. Slower sim schedule to allow time to manage teams through injuries and whatnot Sun Tues Thurs 5 games per Sim We will be using Slack StatsPlus and possibly a forum With everything going on for the holidays, this league will not start until the first week of January even if it fills up this week Cardinals are gone Yankees are gone Cubs are gone Dodgers are gone Red Sox are gone Reds are gone Nationals are gone Rockies are gone Mets are gone White Sox are gone Rangers are gone Blue Jays are gone Padres are gone Astros are gone woo-hoo! over 1/3 full Roster edits are about 1/3 done Goal will be to have rosters done by Friday and then over the New Year's weekend, do some last minute prospect tweaking and then be ready to start by the 3rd or 4th I reached out to Dave from Stats Plus tonight and we're working to get the league page up Last edited by qcbandits; 12-29-2017 at 11:43 AM. |
