well, was BTS the 'teaser' from a few months ago (ootp patch note or with release etc, forget exactly) or is something else coming out?

how many times has a football game been attempted, now? 0 for 2? 0 for 3? hitting .250+ is a good enough average in baseball, but...

I know but it would still be nice to have regular updates even if there isn't much to say. I'm checking the community almost every day to se if there's any progress on the game ��

happy for the BTS update, sad it wasn't the news we wanted, happy Francis is doing well, and happy a new project is in the works. 3 out 4 aint bad

Takes a lot of guts to admit when its time to move on and start over. Especially with a bunch of drooling idiots like us just waiting to pounce all over every word.

I feel confident that OOTP is going to do this and do it right. They're too talented for it not to happen and they have lots of experience with the OOTP-FHM interface.

Looks like I was right Brad and dumbrabbit. You two thought I was stupid for saying that no one could do it like Francis.....yet the game was just scrapped because....no one can do it like Francis....so yeah.

I never took a shot at guy for having health issues...it is understandable. At the time we didn't know that.....or know anything that was going on. We went a very long time without an update on the game. So I gave up on it. Would've done the same with any game made by a major company. As a consumer that pays for your products I can voice my opinions.

Francis is a great programmer and that's why I said what I said. There is no BTS without him......I called it.

But moving forward, a football sim that is made similar to the current iOOTP baseball would be a dream come true. IOOTP is the best sports game ever made imo. The depth and detail beats any other game on my console, even the ones that you can play that are pure sims. It's amazing. Thank you guy for your genius programming.

I was curious about a football sim on Mac and found that there really isnt one available.. After that I was thinking, damn I wish OOTP made one. So, thanks guys!

Excited to hear this will be getting a reboot. I'd love to get involved in the development of this project in some way (or OOTP) that goes beyond beta testing, so if the team is need of some help, please reach out.

I'm an instructional design manager for higher ed. by day, a job with striking similarities to game development.

They have been working on a football sim since 1-31-14 ! Now they are without a developer or development team and are promising a game by late 2018 ??? Does that sound feasible to you----or does that sound like vaporware ???

They probably already have some people ready to go. I don't think Markus would announce without some sort of development going on.
