Another Historical Minors Question

If we start a new historical game in say 1953 with the historical minors, will these teams/leagues(minors) fold or realign as the years advance or will they just be with every season from then on?

It looks like they fold. And when teams change affiliation the players stay with the original organization.

What happens if you turn the folding team into an expansion team and keep the same affiliation?

So, using this as an example, in 1992 Vancouver was the Triple A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and in 1993 Nashville became their Triple A affiliate. All the players from that 1992 Vancouver team would be automatically assigned to Nashville in 1993?
