How far back(years wise) will their be minor leagues?

Could you have historical fictional minor leagues?

I was kinda hoping to get this for two friends (and myself

) for Xmas but I see it's not out yet. My plan B is to give a "This will be for you when it comes out" card with a ETA...

Anyone have an idea? I See "late Q4" but that's pretty much now so..

They are looking for early 2013, and they are hoping for sometime in January (per a few answers and their twitter)

Early 2013 is our hope but we will not release a specific date until we are 100% sure to meet the date.

My number one priority for version 1 is a rock-solid game and we will test and tweak it as long as we need to to reach the goal. I want to spend time improving the game after release, not make it work.

Thanks for the quick reply! In the card to them, I will put "To be received in Q1"...

...and I agree. Don't rush it out the door and then play the patch game like so many devs do these days.
