Player piano mode for OOTPB 21
In two days, this forum will start looking like those old player piano rolls with one exception: IIRC, the perforated paper roll in a player piano would scroll upward as it played music. The threads in this forum will scroll in the opposite direction, so quickly that it will be difficult to "get a word in edgewise" (just like at home), much less read and digest it all.
I usually go into mute and contemplative mode at these times, for at least a couple of weeks, until the dust settles. It is an amazing phenomenon to witness, even if it is a bit difficult to participate in it. Switching to another simile, it's like running with the bulls in Pamplona. Stop to try and say something, reason with a maddened bull, and get run over for your troubles! What you just said, slipping off the bottom of the forum board with a few screen refreshes! It will be a wonderful time, but I prefer to be one of these people up here, observing from a safe vantage point: You may prefer the action in the street. Good luck. Either way, have fun!

I remember back in the early versions of OOTP, we used to stay up all night long on "OOTP Eve", having a party on the forums just talking about baseball and OOTP.
Constantly checking the clock, urging Markus to hurry up and release the game.... |

Back when it was only released "when it was ready" or something like that, not even 100% sure it would be that day but we heard rumors it would be.

With the new additions to scouting and drafting, and the ball-park kit, you may see much more than last year.
Not sure, but did someone mention that the Ball-park kit may get its own sub-folder or something? |

I'm just going to have fun refreshing the bug forum and see what everyone reports - half of which won't even be bugs, anyway

Yeah, but it's hard to keep up with all this!
