Online League w/ Conflicting Budgets

My father and I have a online league and we both run two teams. He sent me a trade he tested (has commish ability, but I run all commish actions) but when I tried to execute, the message was the team could not afford the salary of the player. After some back and forth, we realized the budgets he has for teams is totally different than mine (my file is the league file from which he imports/exports). Top image is mine, and the bottom is his.

How do I correct this so he is playing with the correct budgets?

Obviously something is different in the salary calculations. I'd suggest looking through the player salaries page on each save and see where the difference lies. He somehow has 25M in salaries extra for Baton Rouge that you don't see, so it should hopefully not be too hard to figure out what the difference is.

And then just edit that teams finances from my file? When we downloads that, it should correct? What would cause it?

Could it be the owner controls the budget in one league, and not in the other?

Interesting. Not sure how that's possible since my file is the one he imports/exports. Unless you are thinking on his game settings that option is checked.

The budgets are the same, it's the player salaries that are different. I'm not sure how this could happen, that's why I suggest comparing the player salary pages between the two files to figure out what's going on. It may be that one file somehow failed to update something during export process. Seeing if there's some players on one file but not the other might point to what might be happening.

Here's the update. Turns out, we were trying to trade players to the same team at at the same time. Since my league fils is the master, he did not see the drop in player salaries. Hence, why I trade to transact the trade for him it would not execute.

What's the lesson here? Upload a new file after every trade!

What a dunce.
