Longest On Base Streak

Was wondering what the longest streak is for most consecutive games on base safely?

Tried googling to find out the answer, but evidently I can't come up with the right set of words, as the closest I could find was a list of post-season records for most consecutive games on base safely.

Thanks for any assistance guys!

I find it amazing given his record crushing # of walks and his realtivly high BA that Bonds is still 30 off the record

That's a total of 149 games. We don't know where these games fell on the schedule exactly, but essentially he went nearly a full season in '48-'49 getting on base daily with likely just a few interruptions. Not a bad player.

Well, no ****, Sherlock.

My basic comment, which, apparently, you lack the intellect to comprehend, is that he is an unlikely candidate for this to occur.

His OBP that year was .363, I believe, by FAR his career best.

His CAREER OBP is .324. This is not good...or do you know that?
