Images, Hockey style

Since the baseball one hit it off nicely, thought that some hockey ones might too for the three people that woudl give a ****. Anything is up for posting, from the very beginning to present day, pro, amateur, or what not. As long as its' hockey

We'll start off with Mr. Luongo, fresh off from leaving the sunny state of Florida to be Vancouvers' new #1 goalie, with Sami Salo and Johan Franzen #93 duking it out in front. Barring a horible twist of fate, no-one will miss Cloutier at all in Vancouver by the end of this year.

The latest in big names to land between the pipes for Leaf Nation, Raycroft gets a rough welcome from their Ontario rivals, the Ottawa Senators.

hard to see, but you can make out the puck about to fly right by Kolzig's pad. The scorer, Brendan Shanahan, woudl tally #599 that night with this goal.

I love shots lke this. Next to goalie shots the clam and grace of seeing transition shots jsut rule.

This is one of the up-and-comers in the Leaf organization (yes they do have players under 40), Kyle Wellwood. Former Belleville Bull (w00t!). In case you care, here's a descrip on the guy (http://hockeysfuture.com/prospect/kyle_wellwood). Look promising, which means they'll trade him

Here's a scene that's oft-repeated time and again, and will be many times more.

McCabe (player on the left) and Neil (guy with the red face) duke it out as Raycroft slams the door on Neil's scoring attempt.

It's been so long since someone else did net for the Avalance that everyone must greet this guy's announcement with "who?!" In this case, it's Peter Budaj of the Avalance trying to fill some big shoes as Todd White (another former Sen) tries to get one by.

Everyone on the Capitals has the exact same thought, you can see it in their faces.

That thought, is another year of losing.

Kolzig getting attacked on all sides. Now it's Matt Cullen trying to get one by the defenseless netminder.
