We swept Highland, which was great but then were swept by Panasonic.
We have the all Star game @ Paradise City on Tuesday then a 4 game set vs Willowbrook/ We need to win 3 of 4. So i made several moves getting an ace in Robby Kimball and strengthened the back end of the pen with Robert Smith. Getting Charles Neeley was more for him and his wife Samantha who is at AAA. My plan is for both to take over as MGR & HC in the minors when they retire.Doubtful that either will play in September.

Hernandez pitched well in 1 start but then missed 6 games due to an abdominal strain.The rest of the rotation was bad. Pen was good in some areas, terrible in others.

Player Spotlight
SP Robby Kimball R/R #56
Robby is a 3 time all star who was great for the Marlins 2024-29, then had a few injury riddled seasons. He looks like he is back to his once great form and gives us the ace we have lacked all season. If he is re-signed, it will not happen until after FA.


RP Robert R. Smith R/R #58
Rob had a few good seasons as the Madison CL then went to KC where he was solid including 0 BB in 22 IP this season. He will be a SU with Buffalo Club. He will be a highly paid RP next season but i think he will do well.


Anna has 22 E and lately they come 2 per game and have cost us.

With Mordabito gone, Russell moves to CF and leadoff. Hanson moves from Single a to AA, for now DH. I see him as a RF eventually.

We are 4-6 vs Willowbrook this season.


The majority of my team are terrible vs the Willowbrook rotation. Brett is 0-19 with 6 K vs Pebbles. Tigger is bad vs Frog, Pebbles & Braxton. It goes on and on. The Warriors are in a good position to overtake us. I am hoping that Kimball, Hernandez & Lurte can beat them and that Fink can give me 4-5 solid innings. Normally I let my BC set the defense but it used to be a strength of mine micro managing the shifts, so for the rest of the season i will continue to do that.We have i think 4 more seies vs Willowbrook the rest of the season, including the final 3 games of the season. i really dont want them within striking distance of us going into that series.
