Question about League Evolution… More Pitching / More offense
If you turn league evolution off, does the game set this influence back to some base-line average, say over the past ten years, or MLB historical average? Or is stuck on the previous year average, for example the 2019 rocket ball issue?
And to follow-up on this thought, if I turn it off in the middle of a save, does it reset this influence back to the MLB historical average? Or does it just freeze this influence based on the current year of the save, that has possibly been impacted by league evolution? I am leaning towards turning it off, but I do not want to get stuck with some alteration in my save going forward. |

"More Pitching/More Offense" represents changes like changing the height of the pitcher's mound or the liveliness of the balls. It doesn't represent year-to-year evolution. If it's on, you'll see big changes now and then. If you don't, the offense/defense environment will remain constant unless you modify it on the "Stats and AI" screen.

Thanks for the info Tom.
I am guessing that not more than one evo-item is changed per season, so if I turn off that setting, it should remain the same. |
