This is Scouting. I will post it for that Beta Group in the Beta Testing Forum. I don't use scouting and know nothing about it. I work on League News, Games News and Player Season Descriptions. |

ID: 262 News, No Hitter 3rd paragraph - "...pitched a heck of ballgame." Missing an "a" This next one has a couple of things that have been brought up previously in the thread. *Home park is listed when it happened away *Average is based on day not season *And strangely, this particular message lists the Yankees as the losing team. There is no Yankees team in my league.

I can fix the missing "a" and correct the Yankees. Both were caused by my poor data entry. I left off the token for the name of the team and left off the "a". Consider them fixed. Home park error has to be fixed by Markus. It is caused by his poor data entry. It is in the Hard-Code and only Markus has access to that. I have logged it as a bug. I also fixed it where it gave his batting average as .800. I just removed the batting average token as it apparently give the batting average for that one game and not the season average. I just said "and raised his batting average a few points". Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-27-2008 at 10:53 PM. |

We'll have to wait and see if Markus fixed his errors. |

I don't know if this is the right place...
...But while waiting for a game to load, I saw a quote from a guy named Fred Borsch.
His correct name was "Ferd" Borsch. No kidding. |

I just got the following message which should say "tolerance":
"The commissioner said in his statement that the league would have zero tolerate for any contact with an umpire, unintentional or otherwise". |

HOF dialog. Willie Stargell is elected.
"Reminiscing about his life in baseball, Link said it all began hitting..." Looks like the tag is missing. |
