Minor league setup

I've been simulating my league for about 50 years now to tweak some stats and when I started to actually play I realized my league is only set up to have a reserve roster- no minors. I've never played this way before. Is there a way to change the settings so I have minor leagues or do I have to manually create them? thanks for any help.

Don't add minors to an already-created league. EVER. The reserve roster players get stuck in "limbo" and can't be accessed.

Yes, you can add minors easily.

When you get to the pre-season, go to league setup, disable waivers, change your active/40 man roster to a high number like 60 or 70.

Then add the minor leagues you want to add.

Once you have your minors, change your 40 man/active roster back to what you had them at. Run computer manager on all teams, turn waivers back on and you're good to go.

You will not loose any players to "limbo" land or anywhere else.

Why do you continue to give bad advice? Can this happen, yes does it always, no.

While BW is half right, you can add minors and not have that problem most of the time. It tends to happen to your team and not to AI led teams. screenshot your Reserve roster so you know who is there. Could do this for all teams if you want. Create your AAA and affiliate it then if any players are missing look them up and manually sign them to the AAA. I started my league in 1999 with reserve roster and added AAA in July 1999, I then proceeded to add AA in 2004 then the rest in 2013,
I also have a trick for adding 100% accurate minor leagues with parks, schedules and if need be players. Let me know if you want that.
