How do you build your team ?
Like in every major sport that uses a cap the dificult job is to build a team and try to keep its major pieces , so my questions is how do you guys build your team ?
I will be blunt i am a hit or miss guy on draft so i rely on finding gems or gambles especially on talented guys coming of a bad season or injuries i shy away from big fa signings or big re-signings i only give big bucks to goalies and a strong fast goalscoaring center i always tend to be in the lower half of the cap finance wise , my tactics is either boom or bust. My prime example of a gamble was Ryan Johansen after a big injury but he performed for me and now i locked him up until 32 on a 8 mil per year contract So whats yours ? I always build from the net out. Goalie, Top 3 defence and then top centre and winger with additional forwards. However, I sometimes skip the goalie for one of the final pieces so that we finish low for top draft picks each season of a rebuild.

My style
I've been messing with the fictional leagues only and it depends on where I fall in the draft. Typically I do goalie out BUT if I got a high pick I'm going for a high star rated skater for sure. The fictional leagues are way harder (I think) and I see a few things I have already done wrong in my first trial run of a fictional league but will play it for a while see what happens.
