Graphics Forum Baseball League (GFBL)

The league has started and is looking for 1 GM. This league is set up in a pretty cool way including negotiating your own contract and setting up your own strategies...etc

Here are some of the rules of the league (so far):
No trading should involve any of the computer players.

GM's will be able ot negotiate contract with members of the forum, if no response, the GM will have to deal with the AI in signing that member.

If a GM is signing himself, the GM will have to negotiate with the AI as the player.

No trade clause can can be a feature of a contract.

All salary a player earns will be totaled up at the end of a season, and career. (one of the goals of this game is to get as much money as possible.)

Sim will take place every Sunday on a real time basis with one season simmed in a year. (not so sure on this part yet)

GM's will also be required to do lineups once a week.

Members of the forum will be able to toggle spring training points distribution, will post more details when the time comes.

Hall of fame inductees will be voted in a poll by all members of the forum, details will be decided later.

No Rookie Draft as of right now, maybe when the league fills up.

No minor leagues as of right now, and no DH as of now.

All contract extension and trades should be posted with agreement posted by all parties involved. Players do not have to post in trades unless they have a no trade clause in their contract.

And GM's, please have the courtesy of sending the players who are traded a PM informing them about the trade.

Total Money earned will now be taken into consideration for hall of fame selection.

Top two teams at the end of each season will play a best of 5 championship series.

Cash is now eligible for trading.

Current bid on player has to be at least 100K more than the previous bid.

Changes of position/pitching role will not cost any spring training points. [

However, adding a position will cost 5 points in spring training.

Cash maximum is $30,000,000, to prevent an overflow of revenue and also to encourage big signings by GMs.

Rookie salary roof, $2,000,000 for a maximum of 3 years. new!

Players are allowed to sign with any agent as they please.new!

Salary for agents will not be kepy, however total/average contracts earned and number of years will be kept for record.new!

A player will be able to fire/hire an agent at any time, all signings will be done through a post in the league office board.new!

Due to popular demand I'll now sim more often and more games. Sims will be Sundays and Wednesdays each sim will consist of 2-week play. So GM's will have to do lineups twice a week now. I will try this for a while and if this becomes too much of a hassel I will return to the old method. Thanx for the suggestion.

Here are the official league logos. There are 24 logos total. One primary, one alternate and one wordmark logo for each of the four teams. Half of the logos have borders and the other half just has the white background. Use any as of your liking. I designed the logos and dbacks editted and composed the zip file. Hope you guys like them. Enjoy.

*Impotant all logos need to be converted to bmp before use.
