Craziest no hitter in MLB history

That just happened

I'm pretty sure that no one ever, in major league history, has pitched a no hitter with 2 strikeouts. There is approximately zero chance that none of 26 balls put in play fall for a hit. So it definitely shouldn't happen in the first season of an OOTP career.

Well, Ken Holtzman had a no hitter IRL with zero strikeouts in 1969. "Modern" baseball it's very unlikely but as you go back in history it's common to have no hitters with very few strikeouts.

There have been three no-hit no-strikeout (no-run) games in MLB history.

So Brian Dozier ruined the first ever no-strikeout perfect game.

pretty sure there have been no-hitter losing pitchers, too... at least one i see.. the only *single pitcher, article alludes to the fact that a group has done similar?

Approximately zero is incorrect. Zero is definitive. There is a non-zero chance that it can happen yet it did. As with any event with a non-zero chance the timing of the occurrence is irrelevant. It could happen in the first game or not happen in thousands of seasons to infinity.

law of independent results -- hey rich we agree again! i might have to count these occurences on my toes soon ... running out of fingers.

not as unlikely as the op's results, but similar LoL (not really true, for those unaware of past history i reference, we actually agree alot on the facts... it's the subjective stuff we deviate greatly in some instances.)
