That would depend on how full your fg_files folder is. By default (according to Lukas Berger) there are about 1,000. I have 30,000+ in my latest iteration. If you've only got the 1,000 in there you'll see a lot more of the random ones than you would with a full fg_files folder.

Not to worry, managers and coaches don't show their faces at all right now...just the team logo. I can't see the great GM that is myself anymore

I was wondering if this is something new (just logos for GM and managers)or was it in OOTP17 (The last one I owned was 16)? If it is new, is it permanent?

Yes sir. But you can get the historical facegens pak through Add-Ons Central.
