What will be your Custom League(s)?
I know it's early and things could change but I have 2 so far and hopefully they can play a championship game against each other. Looking at an 18 game schedule for both leagues.

I'll probably put in the CFL alongside the NFL and have them play a championship game against each other.
Then, if/when I ever get a Pro-Bowler from any country other than the USA or Canada, I'll start a small 4-8 team league in that country. |

I'm looking forward to the NFL but would like to create a Canadian league similar to the CFL. I just don't want to see established old age NFLers moving to the "CFL" opposed to retiring. There are few players who play in the CFL to go on to the NFL so I hope to recreate that in my "Fictional" CFL and NFL game. If not, I probably won't bother with the CFL.

Assuming we can have leagues with different "reputations" / "quality levels" then I'll do a 12 or 16 team British (or maybe just English) league to go along with a fictional US league that is along similar lines to the NFL.

I will have a EFL vs NFL league similar to my EBL vs MLB league. I will start with 2003 NFL historical (when this becomes possible) and add my EFL. My teams are buried right now in a box that I use3 for my EBL stats so I dont have all the 2003 teams handy but they are most of the same cities that had baseball on Endor in 2003. I forgot the name of the PC game that I had my football game on originally but the Panasonic Samurai were basically the Dallas Cowboys and won 5 Super Bowls in a row, going undefeated back to back seasons.
My 2018 & 2019 Bears team is one i look the most forward to. QB Terry Lydon basically Brett Favre RB Garret Jackson - Bo's son TE Sterling Thomas - Franks son C Zach Markos kinda like Olin Kruetz and if we can clone real players he will be a clone of Kruetz LT Jake Markos clone of Orlando Pace RT Jack Markos WR/CB Earl Morris plays CF for the Cubs FS Nate Dogg later plays in the EBL DE Andre Bishop C/LF for several EBL teams NT Don DeLuca "Road Pig" played NT for The Skins for 10 years before joining the Bears in 2018. at 7'1 420 lbs he once jumped over the C to arm tackle the QB. Also plays RF in 2020 for Alderaan Royals. Only player to ever hit the roof of the dome in Atlantis' Octopus Garden but that was in a Celebrity All Star game. Other notable players: Wilbur Duggleby all time leading rusher and most touchdowns all time, NYG Michael Corbin QB, Matt Young, WR along with Nate Dogg & Andre Bishop Delgado Lions of the EFL. I would love someday to have OOTPD baseball, football, hockey and basketball and have all my games follow modern Earth and fictional Endor leagues. i plan on getting FHM later this year. Now just need a basketball game.

Random debut historical league, if it's possible from the outset (the realist in me tells me not to get my hopes up but the fan in me won't stop salivating over the possibility).

i'm actually reading these. i don't even watch football, but the idea of Mordor facing the Shire for the ultimate Golden Ring match does have appeal.. and since i would likely sim, since the sport is foreign to me, why not...

Would be interested to see how that would work out given that players now are bigger, faster and stronger than players even 10-15 years ago. |

What length of schedule are folks aiming for? I assume most will be using a 16-game regular season.
Did getting that cost $6 million? Last edited by Le Grande Orange; 02-05-2014 at 04:26 PM. |

I'll probably use either 16 or 18 game schedules.

I'll have a league in China, Japan, Canada, and Italy to go along with the NFL. Probably will expand the NFL or just allow the game to expand it when it sees fit like OOTP.
Might also add in a Star Wars league . |

For my British league, the idea I have in mind is 8 English teams in one conference then a total of 8 teams from Scotland, (all of) Ireland and Wales in the other conference.
Probably something along the lines of (team names where I can think of good ones): Northern English Division Liverpool Manchester Newcastle Brewers York Vikings Southern English Division Nottingham Outlaws Birmingham Bulls London Monarchs Southampton Admirals Northern Celtic Division Edingborough Glasgow Aberdeen Belfast Southern Celtic Division Cardiff Dragons Swansea Dublin Cork |
