Is it Time for a Home Run Derby?

I would love to see a home run derby. I don't really care if it's tracked or not but, me personally, I would thoroughly enjoy it. I always play out every All-Star game in pitch-by-pitch mode because I love to see the All-Stars in my league battle it out.

The best part is that it seems so easy to implement. I bet it would look awesome in 3-D for all you MLB players too.

So what do you think? Is it time to add the home run derby or should it put off for some other time? Or...if you are more sinister...should it never be added?

Yes and it should tracker the winners. As a matter fact there should be a history page that has the All-Star history of your league that shows every year ane the score then you could click on any year and tell the home run derby winner the MVP the box score and the roster for that year

I voted no just because it would add nothing to the game for me. The Communist comment is unnecessary, for I do not even like soccer or hockey.

Homerun Derby

WHAT? You kidding right? How can anyone say yes to this?
Here are 3 reasons not to add it

#1. After the 1st day of having it someone will come here and say "BS, The Homerun Derby is predetermined and it cheated me out of the title"

#2. After the 1st day of having it someone will come here and say "BS, The Homerun Derby is predetermined and it cheated me out of the title"

#3. After the 1st day of having it someone will come here and say "BS, The Homerun Derby is predetermined and it cheated me out of the title"

Enough said.....Thanks but No Thanks

I lost interest in the homerun derby the year it was in KC. After seeing the 300th ball land in the fountains and Berman screaming, "Back, back, back," like it was the most important homerun in the history of baseball, I was so bored I switched to a re-run of the Simpsons. Haven't watched it since. Too many rounds, too many commercials.
So a great big no from me, even though I'm not a communist.

yeah the homerun derby sucks now. I miss watching the old school derbies with 10 outs and you're done

I love the homerun derby however I do like the 10 outs and you're done format better.... I cant stand Berman constantly hollering "back back back", why he continues to get to do the homerun derby is beyond me

I'm a communist, and I would like to see it added. Is that so wrong?

It won't be in 17. No promises about the future, but I'd expect it'll be in the game at some point.

If it's an easy thing to improve lament?, sure why not, otherwise, yes there are some other issues I'd consider to be more "pressing"

I really don't see the need for the HR derby in OOTP, but if its easy to put in why not.

All that don't want it, that's fine. If it's ever in the game, just disable it or don't play it. Some people want it. Even those who aren't communists. Not a big deal. It would add another layer of realism, in my opinion.

Home Run Derby is totally useless for me... but if it helps sell more of the games and makes Markus richer, I'm all for it.
