Very Confused and Frustrated

Hello,

I just purchased the game. I am playing as the Astros and for some reason I am stuck on lineup issues with Mets. The first time it said I had an injury on the Mets I needed to attend to. I started the game over and now I am getting a message to change the Mets roster. I am not playing as the Mets. What am I doing wrong? I did load the most recent 2015 roster update. Thanks.

Sounds like either you are controlling all teams or are controlling both the Mets & Stros in the lineup screen. Go to The Mets Home age - Players and click on Available Actions and tell the AI to set up the team. Might have to be ion Commish mode for this. If you are in a game make sure that only you are controlling the Stros and make sure the Mets say Computer AI or whomever is the Mets MGR.

Thanks for the reply. I do not get the option and on other pages it says I cannot change a team that I do not control. It is really strange. Also, I really hate the Mets.

Start up a new game, using default rosters. Assign yourself to Houston. Do not tick "commish mode" or "start unemployed".

Does that work?

The 1986 National League Championship Series was a best-of-seven Major League Baseball postseason series between the NL East champion New York Mets and NL West champion Houston Astros. With the default rosters, it works. Too bad I cannot use the updated ones, but that is okay. Thank you very much.
