I wonder how these suggestions always come from people with no Perfect League titles.

LOL. If I had one or two I would still make this suggestion. 3 or more maybe not?

I think I am breaking the record for most perfect regular season wins without a title?

You took the title from me. Wear it with pride.

I think I remember reading somewhere that a tournament public beta might be coming in September--are there any updates on that timeline?

The updates come once a month at the end of the month. With each month seemingly promising next month.

Will we be able to use the same card in two tournaments at the same time or would we need to have two copies of that card?

Man I am really looking forward to the restricted tournaments. One format I crave the most would be a Salary Cap Live Only. Why? The league meta is dominated by diamond and perfect historical starting pitchers ... with those guys out of the picture I think you would see a lot more variance and challenge in team builds and strategies.

Can one of the developers verify whether you are still looking at doing tournament open-beta by the end of September?

Seconded--willing to be patient as long as there's some communication, but there hasn't been any since we were told some developers were sick, and that was in the beginning of September.

They are obviously working on it and they will be ready when they are ready. What good does constantly asking them do? How does it change anything on your end?

I bought players in anticipation of gold-only/silver-only tournaments and put more money into the game after a September tournament beta was promised. If the urgency level on tournaments is "it'll be ready when it's ready" then that's fine, they don't owe me anything, but they should say so instead of promising deadlines that are missed without any further communication.

It temporarily satisfies the "itch" however imperfectly.

When they promised screenshots (note the plural) they delivered exactly TWO.

Communication is once a month at the end of the month.

Without reading the last couple of pages..

This was an issue in The Show.. is there going to be a different option to save the tournament roster.... for example, the lineup and rotation I use for my season, I don't have to change that around when I enter the tournament, and re organize it again for season play correct? I should be able to have my season roster saved, and not mess with it to enter tournmanets?

Hell no. My squad got lucky twice. Haven't made it to the playoffs since

Hey guys,

little update here on tournaments. We're making steady progress and will start internal testing soon. I am not sure yet how long that will take, so I cannot communicate a date for the public beta yet, but we're working as hard as possible to get it done.

Cheers,
Markus

What does a public beta mean? Does it mean cards, packs, or points earned won't really count?

Yes, it means tournaments in the public beta do not pay out rewards. We don't expect the public beta to last long, I guess about a week if all works well.

Question. How does how field work for tournaments? For example what if you are in a do-or-die tournament (single game elimination). What would determine who gets home field in the game? That can be a huge factor especially with how some people will put their parks and adjust rosters. Is this all going to be at a neutral park?
