OOTP on MLB Youtube channel

Not sure if this is the right place for it, and maybe it's already been linked, but lookie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zHxgNGtdgI

Garbage. Threw me off 5 or 6 times. Radio is WAY better AND in real time, too. Not 3 pitches behind. 1st and last time I waste on this. Watched a couple innings, thrown off multiple times, went back to the beautiful free radio.

Wait, what?

Did you check out the link above? Because it is just a brief clip of an interview with Rich Grisham during the All-Star festivities. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with your reaction.

But I too prefer baseball on the radio (when not actually at the park.)

Yes, I checked out the link above. That's how I was able to see, well, atleast, some of the game. The game was over a long time ago. It was a 12:30 start EST. I saw parts of the 7th, 8th and 9th innings. On and off. Because I was thrown of the connection. That 'ol, whoops, something went wrong. Please retry. I had to come back here and click on that link up top, again so I could get on and see the game, again. After a bit, it does it again.

The Phillies/Dodgers game was the only one on youtube, I believe.

Hmm. Well, that is odd. When I click on that link it takes me to a short interview with Rich Grisham about OOTP.. Which I'm pretty sure is why Izz shared it.

Well, then, you all missed a good ball game if you could see it. I was more interested in the game as that was the only place to view it, rather than a boring interview. Still, baseball on youtube stunk and interviews are boring. Sorry you missed a good game.

Obviously, you wanted to see an interview, and I wanted to see a game. What is so "odd" about that? We were looking for 2 different things. Sorry you missed a good game, though.

No, no, sorry for the confusion. I wasn't criticizing any choice you made.
I just thought it was odd that the link above, which should direct you to the short clip of our very own Rich Grisham discussing OOTP, somehow landed you somewhere else entirely. (And hey, you might not want to let Rich hear that you thought his interview was boring. He was talking about our favorite game after all.)
But I'm glad you enjoyed the game, even if not the medium.

Well, the 1st thing was some ad, then on the side I saw the link for the game, which I knew was only on youtube. I'm not an interview guy. Boring and just propaganda. My mistake thinking that was what this was about, the game. Anyway, it was rough watching getting disconnected all the time. So, you end up with 2 reports. lol Oh, and it's still my favorite game. That never changed. I guess with all the political garbage going on, I don't watch any interviews. If one comes on, I change it to something better like ghosts. lol

You didn't get disconnected from the game? Maybe you had a different server.

While having nothing to do with the link in the OP (except it too is on youtube) I watched the Phillies/Dodgers game on youtube and it was fine, I had no issues with the broadcast. So if you did likely it had to do with your internet connection or ISP.

That's what I figured. Xfinity is funny that way.

Izz, face it, your thread is thoroughly hijacked, derailed even!

But thanks to you and zappa for the heads up about the free MLB Game of the Week on YouTube!

Here's a schedule of upcoming games:

As unintentional as it might have been (on Izz' part anyway.)
But yes, I was also thinking that I was glad to know about this now even if it wasn't the original point of the thread.

I wonder if they will continue to show the games "unlive" as they are doing here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aTUbhnYrKs

That would be nice. I'm watching that game right now.

It was unintentional on my part. I really did think it was about the youtube game. I mean I was excited that it involved my team and with no other way to see it. Sorry, wasn't meant to hijack. Well, everybody can still go see the interview. Charge me with an error. What can I tell yous.
