I appreciate the updates from you guys who've recently entered perfect leagues especially since I'll be there soon and I'm wondering what to expect. If any of you have the time and would post your active roster (showing ratings, if possible), it would be much appreciated.

The Frogs found a slightly higher gear on this hump-day, going 20-8 today. Overall the team is 51-32 and has a commanding lead over what has turned out to be a pretty hapless 4-team division.
Here is what the squad is looking like and how the numbers are working out...

The Angels in their first season of Perfect League. 52-39 and in the second wildcard spot as we speak.
9th in Runs 6th in Batting Average 17th in Home Runs 21st in ERA (!) 17th in Ks 15th in Defensive Efficiency Greg Maddux is doing amazing for me but the rest of my rotation isn't faring too well.

Just pulled all bronzes from a pack this morning. There's a 0.03% chance of that happening so that's pretty neato I guess.

After starting 14-13 my F2P-team is on a roll (okay, we led our Iron League with a 103-59 record before falling in the first round) ...
Since then we won 54 and lost 13 ... and had a No-Hitter

In May, the Coons were in first place.
In July, they are 15 games out. Nothing that I do even remotely works. Nothing.

I started the season aiming for relegation, considering how bad last season was. Now just after the All Star break, we are somehow 49-48 and all of a sudden just 6 games out of potential playoff spots. Perhaps we can get on a run in the second half and push for one of the most unlikely promotions ever?

Cashing in in late July ... including a 19-game winning streak

Thanks everyone for posting your "perfect rosters"! It's nice to see that you're all having some success and with rosters that don't appear to be that different than mine (in terms of quality).
Frank Robinson (RF) was cutoff at the bottom. He's an 85,88,76. I've got some guys on the reserve who I'll try out on the active roster at perfect, like Greenberg at 1B. I'm thinking Lajoie might do better against higher level pitching, but I'll have to wait and see. I've also got Shoeless Joe (92,71,67) for another high contact guy. I'm saving up for another SP (by selling players, not using money anymore), favoring either 99 Walter Johnson (111-85-76) or 100 Tom Seaver (108-78-87). I'm leaning towards Seaver at the moment for his superior control. Any opinions here? Blanton and Newhouser are SPs I'm using in the bullpen and they'll be joined by either Paige or Spahn once I get another SP, but I'm not sure which RP I'll replace or if I'll go with 1 more pitcher (I'm only using 11 at the moment). Edit: OK, I finally decided to tally up the current worth of my roster. The active roster is worth 1,217,000 PP. My diamonds on my reserve roster are worth 459k and I have 101k PP saved up. So once I sell off some of those reserve diamonds, I'll be able to upgrade some more without spending more money, but I'll wait to upgrade until after I've been in perfect for a bit.

Both my teams smell. The Coons have now bought 1933 Hal Schumacher as fifth starter, giving the shutdown groundball pitching with elite infield defense one last whiff before giving up and retooling.
And the Rebels are in last place. I think I have to give up on packs-only with the Rebels, because it just ain't working…….

Hmm... Maybe I was overestimating the number of really high priced teams? Because I wouldn't expect to do that well if a perfect league was full of those, but maybe they're spread out now? I guess I was just picturing a bunch of teams with lots of perfects pitchers, etc.

Here's my roster this season in perfect hanging on at 57-53, and your roster looks vastly better than mine. And the record would likely be better if the ballpark was setup differently. I just dropped Trout, Yelich, Hazle (DH), Maddux 92 for Suzuki, Erstad, Betts gold, Astacio. Those are the only changes for this season outside of training players for other positions. So it's gonna be a better or worse team than it was earlier this week, gonna let it play out and see though. Might pick Trout back up later if it hits the fan.

It depends on the League Draw, as talent is more diluted now. My Doha Oilers reached perfect as soon as it was possible when there were only 4 leagues and it was brutal. They are in their 4th year now and with the same team my record as gone 86-76; 92-70; 113-49 and this year we are 80-30 so far. Nonetheless it takes just a couple of super teams in your division to lower your record substantially.
