Foster's Coalition -- The Negro Leagues Live!

I’d like to bring to you a new OOTP league and one of few (if I read the forums correctly) that are historical in subject matter.

Rube Foster’s Coalition brings to you 12 of the best known negro clubs and includes the Eastern and Western Leagues, operating separately other than pitting each champion against each other in the Foster Series, the world championship of negro baseball.

What is the Coalition? We plan to explore the history of players of color without integrating into MLB in 1947. Imagine the careers of Mays, Aaron, and Clemente playing out in the negro leagues separate from MLB.

This league offers the opportunity of actually being two different leagues as MLB is also running in this file and I would welcome those who want to run an MLB club throughout our history. Bring a group of your friends and take over many or all of the MLB clubs and create your own history of the MLB inside the same file!

Our forums are housed at SimNation so come join not only the league but a community to boot!

Here’s the breakdown of the coalition:
Eastern League:
Baltimore Black Sox
from history. Beginning in 1928 (history back to 1920), the coalition
Homestead Grays
Newark Eagles
NY Lincoln Giants
Hilldale Club
Pittsburgh Crawfords

Western League:
Birmingham Black Barons
Chicago American Giants
Cleveland Buckeyes
Indianapolis ABCs
Kansas City Monarchs
Memphis Red Sox

We aim to celebrate the greats of negro baseball history and watch as their careers play out right in front of us!
If you would like to join us, please go to the website and click the ‘JOIN US’ link. Give me 3-4 clubs in order of preference and I will get everyone a team on their list if at all possible.

Folks, we still need 4 owners to fill the Negro leagues portion of this league file. The open clubs are in the graphic above and if you want the Lincoln Giants, I'll give them to you and take another club. I just want this league to come to fruition.
