1950 Pirates Test Run
They finished 57-96.
I am going to make EVERY fielder a top fielder (100 rating) and see what effect it has on the outcome. In OOTP 14, they improved to 80-74 with just those changes. Should be interesting. Lee |

I'm thinking of taking 1 player with a great season and adding him to a team deficient at that position and see what that team does. For example Mickey Mantle's Triple Crown year to Tampa Bay Rays (any year) and see if that changes their team record. Or Bob Gibson 1968 1.12 ERA to a team with minimal pitching and see. I'll use an old Minor League low ratings player and adjust based on their actual iOOTP ratings.
Thanks guys for the editor. So many possibilities. |

The Pirates won 90 games, but the Dodgers beat them out.
Every starter had a low WHIP and the ERAs ranged from 1.91 to 2.74!!! I would say that Fielding ratings play a HUGE part in preventing runs. Next up, I think I'll make a bunch of unbeatable pitchers and put a horrible defense behind them. I LOVE this editor! |
