The infuriating case of different views on different screens- why?!

This just drives me batty. I'm looking at my roster screen. I modify the Pitching Stats 1 view, delete the Pitching Stats 2 view. Rename Pitching Stats 1 to Pitching Stats. I'm happy.

Then I go to the free agency pool and like, the list of views available does not correspond to the modified list I was just looking at.

WHY?!

Do I really need to make the painstaking changes to the list of views separately in each screen where there is the list of views?

If so, why is this the case? It makes me insane. Insane, I tell you. Wouldn't it make more sense to have ONE list of views, where any modifications you make are always there?

I renamed my changes to a different name and they are always there. Maybe something to do with the default (?)

This was in 13 so if that doesn't work in 14 then guess I won't be buying 14 until patch.

I like being able to have a different set of views for different lists of players. I don't care to see the same information for free agents as I do for my roster, or for the draft pool, or retired players list, etc. I understand the frustration though, it can be very tedious editing the same views multiple times.

The ability to save/load modified views would be welcome, and a good compromise between the two tastes.

I believe that is why it works the way it does. At least, from what Markus has said in the past.

If you want a quick way to have the same views on all player lists, here is how:

In the game folder called Tables are a set of files which include the various views. Set your views for one set of lists (for example, all_players) and duplicate/rename that view for the other list types (for example, fa_players, team_players, etc).
