Updated Rosters

Is there a way to update the rosters without a build update. I had just started the season with the latest build, but since my Giants aquired Pillar and Austin I would like to restart my game since i am not that far in.

Thanks.

No unfortunately you will have to wait for the next patch to get the updated rosters, the only other way is to go into commish mode and make the transactions manually.

I thought they would still be opening day rosters unless you start a game with the live update?

Correct, only ratings in current games, to get the moves and other stuff you "must" start a new MLB game. But if he wants to start the season over, then he would have to wait. Sorry, the new feature is still very foreign to me as I have not used it.

Here is a thread that may help answer some questions on it.

I have not used the feature either so maybe I'm missing something. I didn't think you had to wait for a patch to use the live update for yesterday for example. I thought the patch would only include updates made by the roster team, but still be rosters as of opening day. I'm not understanding why he would need to wait for the patch because the standard quickstart would not include Austin or Pillar on the Giants since they were acquired after the season started. Sorry if I'm missing something.

I think you are right, I was confusing MLB with the other leagues. So he could use the Update feature but would have to start a new game to get the roster changes.

Okay cool, thanks! I was hoping you guys didn't change something this year where the standard quickstart would come with updated rosters with each patch. Appreciate what you guys do!
