fhm4.exe Entry Point Not Found
Hi,
I am using the same computer I purchased/used FHM 2/3 on. When I try to run FHM 4, I get an error prompt. It says: The procedure entry point GetUserPreferredUILanguages could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll Any insight? I am using Windows XP, if that is relevent. Thanks. |

Haven't seen that error before, but the most likely cause is your Visual C++ runtime libraries needing an update. You can get the newest version from Microsoft's site at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down...ils.aspx?id=29 , just install that and it should run properly.

Thanks Jeff, you are always quick to reply/be helpful.
I forgot to mention actually, when I initially ran the installation, it detected that my C++ runtime libraries needed an update. It offered a download, which I said yes to. Then it continued with the installation. When I tried to open it, I had the error I stated in the original post. And I did try using your link to update that way, but I get the same error still. Any possible alternative suggestion? Do know, that worst case scenario, I am not upset or any thing if I can't get this figured out on this PC. I am excited to try the game, but I am able to wait a little bit if I have to. I'll be replacing a power plug for my laptop soon that is a newer OS/computer and should run it, I suspect. |

Nothing I can think of, but if you submit a support ticket (http://support.ootpdevelopments.com/...Tickets/Submit) Lukas may be able to walk through the setup with you and figure out what's going wrong. Let him know that you've already done the runtime update, that'll probably be his first suggestion.
