Opening Day Quickstart Updated With September Transactions

Hey guys!

We wanted to provide another quickstart for you. It's kind of a companion to the September 1st update we just released.

This quickstart begins at Opening Day but it includes rosters that are updated to reflect the end of the season rosters from this year. So if you want to play out the year and see how your team would have done with its current rosters all year, now you can do so.

Just be aware that not everything is fully updated 100%. So some rookies who ended the year in the majors may not start off there here and there may be a few guys who didn't get rating boosts or nerfs that fully reflect what they did this year. Plus 2017 draftees and amateur fa signings are not updated to their new teams.

I love the September updates but I would like them even more if the draftees were on the team that drafted them and the international signees. Thank you

I get what you’re saying, but that’s probably tricky. Who would be the available draftees in the June draft then? Fictional players? Not dogging your idea, just curious.

Options- I have been out injured for three years so I have way too much time to think

1. Fix it so that the draft is automatic and players go to the teams that draft them, so a simulated draft. I imagine it would have to be a first year option.

2. If they are fixed when the season begins then there could be an option to skip the draft entirely.

I would pay an extra $10 for a September fix with updated rosters, draftees on their teams and international picks on their teams. I am sure others would be willing to pay the same.

BTW, thanks for this game. I got badly hurt in my classroom three years ago and it is painful to walk (three badly herniated discs and a pinched nerve), so I have to sit in a comfy chair that has three blankets and four pillows in it, if it did not have that I would be in more pain. Having this game to occupy time, day time tv sucks, has kept me somewhat sane. Truly thanks to everyone who helps to put OOTP together.

I know the project was sidelined but if you ever try to work an American Football game together I could help out on what scouts look for in players. I worked for 15 years as the (or one of the) Texas Football Expert for Rivals.com, Fox Sports and I had two high school football shows in Houston.

Historical Guys besides Fictional ones. Juan Nisaco on the Cardinals missing to. Their's others to but those are happening right know in terms of letting Minor Leagues and Staff/Personal go. Most of 8-31 Rosters Moves didn't happened also Gonzalez still on White Sox,Martin still on Mariners,Maybin not on Astros.

Is there a way to use these rosters in a new standard game? I want to use the Sept. rosters but with all the Indy and International Leagues.
