Lack of players in historic game

Hey there,

I've been playing a historic game starting in 1871 since OOTP 16 (now 17) and it's been great fun so far, I mananged to win the title 5 times in 11 years, and 3 times in a row from 1879 to 1881.

However, at the end of the 1881 season, a big expansion draft came up, with 8 new teams joining the leagues and now I only have 14 players left in my A roster, 20 mostly crap players in my AAA and nobody in AA, A, SA and R

What can I do now? Will the players get filled up by generated people automatically? Or do I have to play with 14 players now?

you'll either need to click to allow ghost players, tell the AI to fill rosters with fictional players or create your own players.
You need to be in commish mode to create your own players. Not certain about other two. Not at my game to check.
This has been an on-going problem since the historical minors were added.
Do you happen to have any Free agents? If yes, you could hold a FA draft.
If you don't want fictional players to make it to the majors, you can check a box for that as well.

You dont need minor leagues prior to 1919 approx. Also roster limits were far different prior to 1910. Most teams only carried around 15 players until that time.
Not sure if historic minors option is available for a transferred game, but if it is use that.
