Is there an easier way to import all players photos than doing them one at a time in the player editor? This may take me forever...

I take it if there is not a photo available it will remain a face gen.

This is for a historical league with minor starting in 1946.

Do you have all the photos in the OOTP "photos" folder? If you do, then the game should automatically load them if a match is found.

Yes they are all in the photos folder, I just do not know how to switch from face gen to photos.

Thanks, by the way really enjoy using your ballparks files.

With full minors this is going to be very complicated but a lot of fun! I may actually have to delegate some of my tasks as GM.

Game menu > Game Settings > Players & Facegen

When you go to this screen, what options are selected or deselected? This is where you can choose to load photos (or Facegens) automatically.

This is where you can verify that the path to your photos folder is correct.

Looks like I am still doing something wrong; I force picture update it says it goes through 8108 records but it doesn't look like it changes any of the face gen to photos. I will keep trying.

The force picture update is for Facegen only, I think. (Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.) I think you may have to delete all the Facegen files that were created for your league. (Look for the news folder > html > images) Then you'll want to make sure you have the option checked to load player pictures automatically. The option below it, to load Facegen pictures automatically, should be unchecked. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you I probably will not get to it until tomorrow morning. I will try, one thing about OOTP is that it is making an old guy more computer savvy, I do things in OOTP with settings I would have never tried to do because of the fear to really mess things up in the computer.

I assume I find the news folder in my saved games folder.
Which page am I in when looking for the option to check load pictures automatically and uncheck Facegen?

Go to game start screen and select setting game settings. Then go to the 3d and Facegen option. Pick search for photo first under the picture search mode option

Found it but instead of 8108 records it is only searching for 598 records.

I am not new to the game but struggle with this process. I moved my player photos from 16 to 17 in the correct location. I thought if you restarted the game, the player photos would automatically replace the Facegen pictures; well that didn't happen. I went to manually do it, and that process looked like it was going to take all day. Can someone give me the process - perhaps with screenshots on how to do this correctly? Thank you!!
