Any way to remove facegen for myself and coaches?

I downloaded the huge photo pack for players, then used facegen to create faces for myself and my staff in a 1930 season. However I'd like to revert back to no facegen.

I tried the Game Settings, where it says "Coach Pictures For" and set that to "No Fictional Pictures" but it doesn't do anything.

If there is some way to get rid of the facegen faces please let me know.

The "No fictional pictures" isn't working because the pictures have already been created. That doesn't TURN OFF the pictures, it just prevents them from being created in the first place.

Try this:
  1. Leave that set to "no fictional pictures."
  2. Go to your Team Reports page, and run the report on the right called "Personnel".
  3. Click on your manager's name. You will get a report about your manager. Choose "Open in External Browser."
  4. Look at the URL string for this report. At the end will be something like "coaches/human_manager_1.html," although your number may be different.
  5. Close OOTP
  6. Look in your saved game.lg \ news \ html \ images \ person_pictures folder. Find the file named "manager_1.png" or whatever number you noted above.
  7. Delete or move the file somewhere else.
  8. Restart OOTP and see what shows up for your picture.

Repeat these steps for any other people whose pics you want to eliminate.

Let me know if this helps!

Thanks for the reply.

I found and deleted all the facegen photos, and have it set for no fictional photos, but when I view the personnel page it still generates photos.

It also did not remove my facegen (been playing GM mode).

Not a big deal, especially because my team is on a tear right now.

Not any more
Very simple and easy to fix:
When you start ootp click settings. when it opens, click the 3D and facegen tab and set the picture seach mode to seach for picture first.
Now open your saved game's news\html\images\person_pictures and profile_pictures folders and delete everything. Make copies of these folders first just in case. restart ootp and it'll auto load all your real pics and you'll have no facegens any more.
