What are some easy ways to navigate through all the screens?

I'm new to the OOTP franchise and have been a little bit overwhelmed with all the screen options and navigation features. I've been playing on and off for about a month now and still don't feel I have a clue how to get around. For example, I can never seem to remember how to get certain screens like the free agent signing screen. Or it takes me a while to find where my disabled list is at. I like the detail of the game, but it is not easy to remember where everything is.

What are the ways all you veterans navigate in OOTP 16? Do you use the "bookmark" feature for all your common screens? Is there a way to edit the sidebar on the right hand side of the screen?

Bookmarks are essential IMO. By using all the available bookmarks you can navigate to pages with other tabs. that will reduce the amount of navigating you need. With a little time and experience you will also find that there are 10-15 pages that make up about 90% of what you need to play at any one time.

See this screen shot. The home icon is the Managers office and the starting screen is MLB home page. The function buttons are mostly team oriented which is obviously my focus.

My only beef is the lack of support for F11 F12 keys and no direct assignment of F keys.

Hope this helps.

Rich's way is really good.

I personally bookmark one page... League Reports Home. I use the links on that page to access a lot of other things. I use the team home page as my start page and access everything about my own team with the tabs available there. I use the transactions page to access free agents, trades, and personnel.
