Missing Players
Can this thread be a list of players that are missing from iOOTP 14 that have played major time on their teams?
For example, I could not find J.D. Martinez (Tigers). |

Is there any way that you can create a player with the player editor?

Nope, that is a necessary addition in my opinion. You could always take a scrub, make him Brock Holt and then trade him to the Red Sox for another scrub.

The best way to solve this is to, as someone else said, take a scrub and turn him into the missing player. You could always use the ratings from OOTP.
At this point, there won't be another roster update, so we'll have to wait for 2015 to see those guys in the game. We try to include the top prospects, but we may miss some. Also, JD Martinez is an interesting case because he was released, signed a minor league contract with the Tigers, tore it up in AAA at the beginning of the year, and was then promoted to the bigs, where he's doing well. Assuming he keeps it up, I'm sure he'll be in the game next year. However, this year he wasn't really a prospect in the traditional sense, so he must have been missed. I'm also not sure that anyone really expected him to make such a splash this year. |
