Perhaps a silly question, but...
Does auto-playing to events and simulating full seasons at a time as opposed to simulating game-by-game hinder a team's overall performance or is it dependent on how you manage your team? I know it may seem like an unintentional rhetorical question, but I'm curious of fellow OOTP users' input on this matter.

If I'm following what you're asking correctly, simulating a game doesn't give you any less chance to win than playing it out except as far as you might make better strategic decisions in game than your AI manager. There's no built in disadvantage for simming or anything, though. Same if you're simming a season at a time. If you're not micromanaging and leaving that stuff to your assistant GM, the team might do a bit worse than it would with you making all the decisions (just because your I is probably higher than the game's AI), but it won't give you a disadvantage beyond that.
