Help: Putting Custom Schedule Together
Hello,

I am trying to build a custom schedule for a Winter League that begins on December 1 and runs through early February with some breaks built in for the holidays/New Years and what not.

I exported a file and worked on changing the <GAME Day #> as a way to do this. Upon trying to reimport the file back into OOTP, I am not getting anything to import back.

It's a 35 game, 6 team league. I would like to use those game days.

Thank you for any help or guidance with this.

it's labeled as "balanced" it can't be since everyone is playing 35 games. Trying changing that to "0"

Every team plays the same number of games against every opponent, so the schedule is balanced. That aside, the "balanced" label is just that - a label. As long as the schedule and the game's setting match, it doesn't matter if the schedule is actually balanced or not.

As for the original question, we would need more information. Are you getting an error message? If so, what does it say? Or are you not finding the file? If that's the case, make sure it's saved as an .lsdl file and that you're looking in the right folder.

Not sure. According to the manual, "type=0" is the tag for a regular-season game. There is no type "5." Maybe that's part of the problem.
