Custom league initial draft bug
I created a custom league, and went to do the initial draft. It proceeded normally through the first 15 rounds of AIs drafting, until it reached my pick at #16. When I try to draft a player (any player that I've tried, although I haven't tried a goalie) I get an error popup that says "Attention! Please select a Goalie" and then a cancel button.
It's the first round of the draft. There are no players in the organization yet. I don't want to draft a goalie. Help please? |

You have to draft a goalie with your first two picks. Why? I don't know.

Thanks for the response. But if that's the case, why haven't any of the other teams drafted goalies yet? 15 picks made so far, only 1 goalie taken.
Even if it is the design intent that you must draft goalies first -- and that would be completely ludicrous IMO, but set that aside for now -- then there is still a bug here in that the other teams didn't take them. Surely the drafting rules should at least be consistent for AI teams and human teams. |

Just a minor update. First, I still experience this bug in the release version of the game. Second, when I click on the "CPU finish draft" button, it does not draft a goalie for me in the first round. It drafted a skater, even though I was prevented from doing so myself. So I think this clearly must be a bug and not a design issue, unless I'm missing something.
