Which Players to keep at 3B?
Luckily pulled 2 diamond cards. Both 3B.
I have 4 players at 3B right now. 2 out of 4 can be sold, but I am not sure which 2. What are your thoughts? Who is IN who is OUT? Last edited by RoteLaterne; 09-08-2019 at 06:34 AM. |

Sell them all and buy someone better imo, there are golds that outplay all of those unfortunately

If I had those players I'd sell at least two of them. I'm not super familiar with the cards other than what you posted above, but:
* I'd want better offense than defense at 3B - not saying I want a guy who's rated 15 in defense there (Hello 85 OVR Tony Perez) but defense is not my first consideration * Chapman and Glaus both have such low contact that they won't hit very well, especially as the competition gets tougher * Not familiar with Devers but you can do better on offense than him * Guerrero is an ok solution but most live cards don't do as well as their ratings suggest they should do So I'd probably sell all of them and buy something like an 87 OVR Wade Boggs, or the 89 Boggs, or the 89 Brett or something like that. So I guess I'm saying I'd sell them all and buy a gold that outperforms them, like what Marleigh said, but I just said it in a much wordier manner! |

Vlad is good at 1st or DH. Chapman great for defense. Glaus strikeout too much.
Or sell them all for one decent 3b like Rendon? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Guess I stick with Vlad and Devers for now, and sell Chapman and Glaus.
Maybe do some more roster movement next week. |

I never realized how good a season he was having until I packed him on my team and was like "wow, nice contact. And gap, and he can play D, with solid power and eye too". Until you're paying 100k+ I bet he's as good as anyone out there.

Rendon is pretty solid, but I'm not sure he's the obvious best value play or anything like that. There are 6 Rendons in my current league, most of them with pretty huge samples, and none of them are outperforming my 84 Pesky.

Sell all. All four will disappoint in the long run either offensively, defensively, or both.

Depending on who you have at 1B and/or DH, I might hold on to the Vladdy Jr. and convert him to 1B or use as DH. Looks like he's going to be a big liability at 3rd.
